Step 7 - Get private practice
Firstly do not worry if you cannot get private practice - most pupils cannot.
However if you can it helps build your confidence as you spend a lot more time on the road.
Your accompanying driver must be aged 21 or more and have held a Full UK Car Driving Licence for
more than 3 years.
If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity wait until you can control the car safely.
Remember whoever is accompanying you will not have dual controls, they will be nervous, you do not
want to frighten them or they will not take you again.
Also remember when accompanying you they must obey the normal rules of being fit to drive and not
using hand held mobile phones.
